Reminder – Lunch Friday 8th July
Hi Septuagenarians
Lunch will be at the Hellenic Club. 8th July 12:15 for 12:30.
The club has a great children’s play area right near where we normally sit. So if you have to mind kids bring them along. Kids certainly seemed to enjoy the play area last time we were there.
The last lunch was attended by the 1952ers none older to be seen. Unfortunately there were some very good reasons why some of the regulars couldn’t make it.
Hopefully all is better in time for the July lunch when we will all be Septuagenarians!
….and sorry for the loss of your father last week Graeme, 92 not a bad innings.
It’s not surprising how so many of you have taken up interests and different jobs since retirement or even kept working. You always were an energetic bunch. On retirement I received a barbecue apron with the motto “Ask someone else, I am retired.” However family needs too often get in the way of peaceful retirement.
Looking forward to catching up in July. Our lunches are never boring and always enlightening. Keep well.
